WAN investor-member meeting and I-Q Corridor Investors' Forum
We are hosting two meetings on September 30 from 3 - 7 pm at two locations, the downtown Milwaukee and Madison offices of Michael Best and Friedrich, LLP.

The first meeting, from 3 - 5 pm, is a WAN investor-member only gathering for network and fund leaders and their members in order to strengthen relationships, augment co-investing and discuss public policy initiatives. 
 
The second meeting, from 5 - 7 pm, is the I-Q Corridor Investors' Forum which brings together angel investors from multiple locations throughout the midwest to review co-investment deals together.  All accredited investors are invited to attend the Forum.

Cost is $35; WAN members FREE.

Catalyzing Angel Technology Investing

We are pleased to announce the continuation of our CAT TEC - Catalyzing Tech Transfer series with the third event on Oct. 14, 2010 at the Bank of America Conference Center, in the heart of Chicago's financial district.

The series is dedicated to creating better connections within the early stage investment community. 

Angel and other early stage investors including members of the Midwest co-Investment Network and the Midwest Research University Network will work on building relationships that will expand co-investing between investors and discuss best practices of working together to commercialize cutting edge technology and grow great Midwest businesses. 

Investors and university startup professionals will also separate for sessions dedicated to streamlining syndication and commercialization processes respectively.  The event will also be an Angel Capital Association regional meeting.

The event will end with a keynote presentation by Steve Burrill, Chairman of Burrill and Company, and networking reception.
